EQ6 BLOCK CHALLENGE

ROSE OF SHARON

BY

SHARON PEDERSON

We saw Sharon Pederson’s Rose of Sharon Quilt made from the EQ6 Block Challenge and fell in love with the colors and block designs. Next came the sampler and it didn’t disappoint. The colors are beautiful, as you can see.

Bush Family Affair is using the actual fabric used in Sharon Pederson’s EQ6 Block Challenge Quilt. Come by, see the sampler and sign up today. This BOM starts in January.

THE STORE IS BUZZING

Excitement is in the air. We are busy getting ready for our Shop Hop scheduled for April 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Coy has been busy doing raw-edge applique from Bigfork Bay Cotton Company. If you haven't been by the store and seen what he is working on, it is a must that you drop in. These are wonderful! Here are a few pictures.

Carol has frantically been working on piecing the quilt below featuring a new line of fabric called Roses by Maywood. Here is a peek at it before quilting. We hope to have it quilted by the Shop Hop dates.

Some other new lines of fabric in just in time for the Shop Hop are:
Frolic by Moda
Luna by Maywood
Made of Honor
Floral Vignettes Traditional by Paint Brush Studios

As most of you know, Gail has the largest selection of wide linings and has made sure she is stocked up for the Shop Hop. We also have many Batiks and Kona Bay fabrics available.

During the Shop Hop, while you are shopping, if you purchase five fat quarters you will receive one free. If you buy ten fat quarters, you will receive three free!

Be sure to mark your calendars and come join us for the fun during our "Hop the River Shop Hop"!

THANK YOU!

I would like to thank all of you for allowing me to be able to take time off Saturday to watch my grandchildren at their archery competition. There were 11 clubs represented. Brooks placed 1st and Conrad came in 3rd. The next competition is March 13th in Stoud. Wish us luck!

REPEAT SALE!

Thanks to all who attended our "Groundhog Day Sale" on Tuesday. We had a good turn out and hope all found what they needed. We have heard from the ones who missed out because of no electricity or just couldn't get out in the weather and have decided to have another sale to accommodate them. If you didn't get enough of us the first time, you are welcome to come again. So here's the info.

Yes, We Survived!

Yea! We have electricity again! This is a luxury we all take for granted until you don't have it. The store is up and running (with a few family members still bunking out until their power is restored). We are still planning on having our "Groundhog Day Sale" tomorrow, Feb. 2nd from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. We hope all of you can make it. Hope to see you tomorrow!
